Deep Woods

Fragrance notes: Cedarwood, Oud, White Musk. The cedarwood gives it a dry, woody backbone, the oud brings a rich, slightly resinous depth, and the white musk softens the edges so it reads warm rather than heavy. It suits a study, living room or entryway well — anywhere you'd want a scent with some presence rather than something light and fleeting.

Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn. Let the first light run until the wax pools evenly across the entire top of the jar before extinguishing it — this sets an even melt pool and helps the candle burn evenly instead of tunneling down the centre on later burns. Place it on a heat-safe, level surface away from drafts and anything flammable.

Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Stop burning once around 1cm of wax remains at the base. Store the jar somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight when it's not lit, so the wax and fragrance hold up over time.

Fragrance strength depends on your room's size and airflow — if you're sensitive to scent, burn it somewhere well-ventilated. We haven't tested this candle against a specific room size, so treat any coverage figures you see elsewhere with caution.
